The Osmond Terrace Function Centre caters for a variety of functions from, 21st birthday parties, christenings, wakes, fundraisers, Melbourne Cup, Christmas day, 40th Birthdays, Social club events and the list goes on. Any celebration or event can be catered for and designed to meet your needs.

Our motto is ‘success through service’ and this is applied to all areas of our function centre, from your first enquiry, through the coordination process with our dedicated function manager, to on the day service where we strive to wow your guests with the venue you have chosen.

The Osmond Terrace Function Centre is perfect for planning your next seminar, conference, product launch, Gala, Christmas function, the list is endless. The quiet sound proof room means no outside distractions during your event and the layout of the room offers great diversity and versatility.

The recently refurbished boardroom is the perfect place for your next meeting. The heritage style architectural features (high ceilings, huge sash windows and fire place), are elegantly set-off against fresh light coloured walls, white venetian blinds and modern wooden light features.

Note, for more casual gatherings we also have the ‘Lit’ room which is a small private area to the side of the public bar. Ask our functions coordinators for more details if this would suit you better than the private Boardroom.

Wedding Receptions

Planning your wedding reception couldn't be easier at the Osmond Terrace Function Centre, our dedicated function Coordinator is able to assist with any entertainment, decorating or theming of your special day. Our flexible menus and popular all inclusive packages make for a stress free reception.

The Osmond Terrace Function Centre can accommodate from an intimate 70 guests up to 180 banquet style or up to 390 cocktail, and includes use of our dance floor and two roving microphones for speeches. For that personal touch why not use our Data projector and screen for your photo slide presentation.

The Osmond Terrace Function Centre at the Norwood Hotel is 3.7km east of central Adelaide. We are only a 9 minute car ride from the city centre. Adelaide Airport is just 11km west of the Function Centre and a 30 minute drive dependent on traffic. We also have free parking on site.


From the Airport:

  • Take Western Link Rd and James Schofield Dr to Sir Donald Bradman Dr.

  • Continue on Sir Donald Bradman Dr to Wakefield St.

  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Fullarton Rd.

  • Turn right onto The Parade and the Norwood Hotel will be on the left.
